How it's calculated
No spin, just arithmetic.
Petrol cost is (annual km ÷ km-per-litre) × pump price. Electricity cost assumes roughly 2 kWh per 100 km — a realistic figure for a TMR hub-motor scooter — multiplied by your domestic tariff. CO₂ avoided uses about 2.31 kg of CO₂ per litre of petrol burned. Every input is editable so you can plug in your own numbers.
